Building a house is like a dream for everyone and making that house a reality is an even bigger dream. From the first floor of the house to the last finish it is a long one and important processes.
However, after building the house,
wall plastering plays one of the most important roles in providing beauty to
the house. Imagine your house without plaster!
How a picture emerges, right?
And the contribution of wall
plastering starts from this place. But not only beauty, but this wall plaster
also protects everything from the brick of the wall to the outside of the wall
from the sun, storm and water.
But it can be seen to a large extent
that even after plastering, the plaster is falling off from the wall after some
years. And what is that for?
The one and only to be exposed to
large amounts of water from the outside. Water makes the plaster material weak
and there starts to appear dampness and eventually the plaster falls off.
But it does not end here.
This dampness leads to cracking which
makes the wall weaker and due to the flaking of the plaster the wall color
becomes pale as a result the beauty of the house is completely lost.
So, what's the way?
The way is waterproofing wallplaster.
Currently, the adhesive industry in
India is very big, and the quality of products for various construction
chemical companies has increased tremendously.
One such company is Mapei, which is
constantly researching product quality and new products. And for that reason,
they are not behind in waterproofing wall plaster products. Their waterproofing
products and services have been trusted by people for a long time.
So, by now, it is understood that
plastering is needed for our house and better said, waterproofing wall plaster
is needed.
But the cause or utility of
plastering is much greater. So let us tell all that information.
Advantages
of Waterproofing Wall Plastering:
1.
In any drywall,
plastering increases the wall's strength and provides it with a more gleaming
and powerful appearance. To make the bond and walls stronger, the reaction that
occurs during the procedure is crucial.
2.
Making a surface
that is smooth makes painting easier. Better-looking walls can be achieved
through painting.
3.
Plastering a
wall makes it possible to add texture and pattern to the wall.
4.
It leaves
surfaces with a flawless finish and is less likely to cause surface cracking.
5.
There is a 3°C
temperature drop in the walls and ceilings.
So, wall plastering is useful or not?
Useful, right?
But when it is so useful, then it is
necessary to know the way to do it.
Right?
But there is no reason to worry.
There are many companies to take on the responsibility of protecting your whole
house.
But so much responsibility cannot be
given to ordinary people. But there are many construction chemical companies
who have been doing this for a long time.
One such company is the Mapei. Their
proper waterproofing wall plastering products and chemicals are absolutely
appropriate.
Then you can easily get your required
product from now.
But before that, let's know how to
plaster.
Steps Of
Wall Plastering:
Preparing
Wall and Making the Plaster Mix:
To clean the wall of any more dirt
and dust, use a paintbrush. Brush the bricks with water just enough to make the
plaster adhere. In front of the wall, spread out drop cloths.
Don your dust mask, safety glasses,
and gloves to protect yourself. Fill your mixing bucket with water. Three
buckets of sand, one-half of cement, and one-half of lime should be added.
Combine all the ingredients in the mixer.
And there are lots of waterproofing adhesives, chemicals that we can use to increase the durability of that
mixture.
Applying
the Mixture:
Work from right to left and from top
to bottom when putting a plaster on the wall. The mortar should be applied on
the wall evenly.
Start at the bottom of a brick and
spread the plaster up two to three bricks, using the brick lines as a guide.
Till the entire wall is covered, keep adding plaster.
Screed
the Wall:
Screed the wall once the plaster is
touch-dry. Drag the straight edge along the wall to accomplish this. To give
the wall a good level surface, spackling removes any extra plaster.
Keep the straight edge level as you
move from one side of the wall to the other. Make your way back across the wall
after that.
Patch Up
& Cut the Corners:
There
may be spots where the plaster is uneven or spotty after the final screed.
Plaster should be applied with a trowel and hawk.
The top and bottom of the wall, as
well as the left and right sides, should all have the side of the trowel
running down them. This will ensure that the plaster is level with the floor,
ceiling, and walls. Plaster that has fallen to the floor can be scraped off
with the trowel.
Wrapping
Up:
So, when the cause, utility and means
are all known, what are you waiting for? Leave the responsibility of home
security as per your requirements to the company of your choice.
But the adhesive industry in India is
really very big, and therefore it is advisable to entrust the responsibility to
the person whose name is on everyone's lips.
And there again the name of a company
like Mapei comes up.
